Good Tiebreaker idea for draft pick purposes.
Cap should be averaged and they start with the same amount 18, 19, 20th all tie, each would get $124 (126, 124, 122) 19 & 20 tie, each would get $123 (124, 122)
If that's the choice, then we should go by "league standings" (figured it's what yall were thinking, but just putting in print).
In theory, this should be a rare occurance.
Is anyone Against HR+W?
Just for clarification, you mean use the league stats to add the total roto points from HR+Wins to determine the person that gets the earlier pick. Money should still be split evenly.

League Ranking (a number between 1 and 20, your ranking essentially).
Example: Brewers has 400 HR and 200 Wins, Brewers finish the league in 2nd in HR (19points) and 10th in wins (10points) = 29 points. Cubs has 300 HR and 404 Wins, Cubs finish the league in 16th in HR (4points) and 1st in Wins (20 points) = 24 points. -Brewers and Cubs Split the next year money evenly -Brewers gets the better pick (I picked this example, because the tiebreaker is league ranking and not total numbers, and yes, these are completely made up numbers)
Let me know if that doesn't make sense & Second request if anyone is against HR+W as the tiebreaker.

I like this way more. And it’s not really complicated - would take 2 minutes in the off-season to set it straight. PLUS it’s built around a metric from that season, not a past season

I say we need a poll. More than 2 people on each side.
Before we make a poll, are there any other opinions that are Not: -previous season finish (worse gets higher pick) -HR+W from the most recent season (based on standings, not total numbers)
If no opinions on this by Thursday night/Friday morning, someone will put up a poll.

If the point is to remain 'in the same year' it should be another category unrelted to HR or W, so... Saves? ... Yes, It's slighly skewed towards pitching stats, but at that point it's a second tiebreaker.

Red Sox (Kris): We still have a MAX 20 prospects, correct?
Feb 26, 2024 9:15:10 GMT -5
Ryan (Cubs): Yes. 20 prospects is the MiLB max, you either need to drop a prospect or call someone up if you are over that limit.
Feb 26, 2024 11:56:08 GMT -5
Red Sox (Kris): I don’t, but I know that some do. So, to be clear, we can draft over the 20 limit as long as we cut down before the season starts?
Feb 29, 2024 23:45:26 GMT -5
Ryan (Cubs): Technically you should be dropping a player anytime a draft pick or trade takes you over the limit of 20. I must've missed it but Yankees needs to release one of his MiLB players, they are the only team over the limit right now

Rockies (Jose): Is Yuki Matsui rostered?
Mar 12, 2024 16:15:04 GMT -5
Ryan (Cubs): Technically you can't bid on Yuki in free agency until he pitches an inning in the MLB. You could have drafted him in the MiLB draft, but players that haven't made their debut can't be nominated in Free Agency.

Mariners (Rook): I do believe Ronel Blanco free agent final bid of $3/3 by LAD is invalid and the player should be returned to free agency. That was LAD last transaction and it put his cap -0.25. We can’t go negative cap. What say you?

Ryan (Cubs): @mariners, correct. LAD's bid on Blanco put him $.25 over the cap so the bid is invalidated. I've messaged LAD and dropped Blanco from his roster
